The clinical care department consists of a number of health professionals who have been trained and have the needed expertise to provide a holistic medical care for our patients.
The Clinical Care Coordinator is a Medical Officer who has a bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Cape Coast. She is also a member of the Ghana Medical and Dental Council. She had her Senior High Education at Wesley Girls High School in 2011.

Our vision as a department is to provide both patient and health staff a top-notch medical care through good communication and collaboration with all the other departments of the hospital for their utmost health satisfaction.
MISSION
To coordinate with various department in the hospital to help diagnose, treat patient’s diseases and to provide both mental and emotional support for them within our capacity.
The divisions under the clinical care department include:
Prescribers
Currently, we have two in-house medical officers, two medical officers who have started their residency program in surgery (Korle Bu Teaching Hospital) and 8 physician assistants. As the main key players of the team, our prescribers have been well trained, educated and have more than three years working experience. Their focus is to diagnose and treat patients through the knowledge acquired over the years and the continuous training programs. That they participate in at the hospital. Our medical officers have an add on surgical skills (performing caesarean sections, salpingectomies, lipoma removal etc).
Pharmacy Department
There is a clinical pharmacist and more than 8 pharmacy assistants. They work hand in hand with the prescribers to ensure that the right medications are given to our patients.
The Laboratory Unit
Their main focus is to help prescribers diagnose health conditions of our patients through their impeccable laboratory services they provide.
The Optometry Unit: Currently, we have one Optometrist and one Ophthalmic Nurse. Through their skills and knowledge, they help manage eye related health conditions of our patients.

The Dentistry Unit
Diagnosing and treating problems related to the oral cavity are their main specialty.
The ENT Unit
Helps manage Ear Nose and Throat- related health conditions of our patients.
Physiotherapy Unit
Helps patients with disability or illness through passive and active exercise.
Dietetic Unit
Help counsel patient on good nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Imaging Unit
With our ultramodern scan machine and x ray machine our sonographer and radiographer (as key members of the ancillary staff) help prescribers to diagnose patient’s condition with ease.
