NURSE MANAGER
Ms. Gertrude Baah is the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services at Nagel Memorial Adventist Hospital, Takoradi.
Nurse managers supervise nursing staff in a hospital or clinical settings. She oversees patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, sets work schedules, coordinates meetings, and makes personnel decisions. She also trains nurses and other health care professionals and maintains the facility's records.
EDUCATION
Mrs. Baah attended Berekum Nursing & Midwifery Training College from 2003-2006. She later continued to study BSc in Nursing at the University of Cape-Coast. After UCC, she then studied Health Administration and Management at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in 2018.
Ms. Baah has also acquired knowledge at KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam [15th to 26th August, 2022], where she studied Monitoring and evaluation in a dynamic health environment.
Finally, Mrs. Gertrude Baah holds an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice from 2018-2019 at the University of Cape-Coast.
WORK EXPERIENCE
She started her nursing career as a Nursing Officer in 2013 – 2016 at Dominase in the Ashanti Region, where she was promoted to Snr. Nursing Officer Dominase from 2016-2018. She was later transferred to Wiamoase SDA hospital, still as a Nursing Officer.

Mrs. Gertrude Baah has a professional research interest is in the area of Nursing and is very passionate about Advanced Nursing Practice.
